Christian motorcycle club Sacrificed will spread gospel at annual Rockabilly Reunion

LAKE HAVASU CITY — Lake Havasu’s Sacrificed Motorcycle Club has publicly made the advertised cut as one of the participating vendors at this year’s Rockabilly Reunion.

Founded by Havasu local Mark Donnell in 2023, the Christian motorcycle club has been reverently meeting and building faith for anyone wanting to strengthen their spirituality.

His inspiration to form the club came from a strong faith filled upbringing and over fifty plus years of motorcycle riding.  Additionally, after three close pastor friends passed away, Donnell questioned his life’s purpose and remembered that his lost companions lead lives filled with their love for God and hobbies that made them happy.

Donnell began his own path in this manner and began a journey that intertwined Christianity and motorcycle riding. The group typically wears all black and gold to represent their dedication of higher awareness. The black is to show modesty and submission for the color known for soaking up light, while the gold symbolizes a private integrity and salvation of God, and to be of service to him.

Their community outreach consists of blood drives and weekly church services. Ordained through our town’s Calvary Baptists Church, Donnell and other members of the group get together weekly. The gatherings are open to the public and meet three times a week.  Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Club Havasu located at 124 N. Lake Havasu Ave in suite 103.

For the past several years, Sacrificed Motorcycle Club have been regular vendors for one of Havasu’s largest music festivals, the Rockabilly Reunion.  Donnell met producer of the event Ken Cuppetelli while serving as the event organizer’s pastor at his wedding ceremony.

Each year, the faith filled club has shared their spirituality with attendees by passing out free shop towels and bibles.  Donnell says that the club hands out at least five hundred bibles per day during the celebrations.

Anyone wanting to pay the club members a visit will have many chances to, as they will be there each day of the event scheduled to take place on Friday February 13 through Sunday February 15 at Lake Havasu State Park located at 66 London Bridge Road.

A complete listing the festival’s times can be seen by visiting https://azstateparks.com/lake-havasu/events/rockabilly-reunion.

Donnell says that every year he is grateful for the chance to spread the gospel with so many new faces.

“It’s truly a blessing to have the opportunity to be able give this gift at such a large event, and we hope to be able to continue,” Donell said.  To learn more about Sacrificed Motorcycle Club and ways to become involved visit https://www.sacrificedmc.com.
