Tractor Supply to host Hometown Heroes benefit sale, donation event

MOHAVE COUNTY — Three Tractor Supply locations in Mohave County will be participating in the company’s nationwide Hometown Heroes benefit event on November 1. Hometown Heroes benefits veterans, military servicemembers, and first responders.

“The Hometown Heroes program reflects our deep gratitude for those who serve—military members, veterans and first responders,” said Hal Lawton, President and CEO of Tractor Supply. “These Heroes embody courage and commitment, and we’re proud to honor them year-round. With National Hometown Heroes Day, we’re taking that recognition further by uniting communities across the country to celebrate their service and sacrifice.”

Tractor Supply will have 2,300 stores participating, making a donation to a local police, fire, or veterans organization. In Arizona, Tractor Supply will be donating to 34 organizations totaling $17,000.

Some stores will also be holding events for National Hometown Heroes Day, such as Touch-a-Truck, thank-you note stations to express appreciation, and giveaways. Veterans and first responders will also receive certain discounts during the two-week period between First Responders Day on October 28 and Veterans Day on November 11.

The following stores in Mohave County will be participating:

• Bullhead City: 967 Hancock Rd. Suite 5. Donations go to Bullhead City Fire Department and Bullhead City Police Department.

• Kingman: 3136 Stockton Hill Rd. Donations go to Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

• Lake Havasu City: 3200 Highway 95 N. Donations go to LHCPD and LHCFD.
