Due to the High Fire Alert in Mojave County this year, now would be a good time to clean up your easement on your property.
Property Owners who have block walls will possibly be better off than wooden and chain link fences for fire.
Reference the Declaration of Covenants, Limitations and Restrictions, under easements (Art. 1, Part 8, Easements, 1972); “Within all Easements, no structures, planting, fencing or other material shall be placed or permitted to remain, which may damage or interference with installation and maintenance of utilities.”
This would include weed abandonment. The fire department and Mojave County have regulations about weed abandonment on your side and front property.
Not complying with our CLR’s could lead to fines and liens on your property that you knew about when you bought your property in our community. Think about this and be a good neighbor and work together for our community of Valle Vista.
