LAKE HAVASU CITY – Last week, Sunstone Real Estate Group partnered up with Mohave Shred for the company’s seventh annual Shred Hunger event. The charitable event took place on Thursday, May 2 right in front of the Sunstone’s business site on McCulloch Blvd.

The family of realtors has been in business for ten years and specializes in vacation homes, luxury homes, RV garage homes and much more. The realtor team along with Mohave Shred, collaborated together that day in order to give back to the community in a major way.

Mohave Shred is known for their affordable prices with shredding personal documents for residents of the county. People were allowed to bring up to ten boxes of private documents for shredding for a donation of two canned foods or nonperishable items.

Their goal was an amazing success, as they received three hundred and seventy three pounds of donated canned goods. All donations went to Havasu Community Health Foundation’s food bank so that they can continue to serve those in need in  Lake Havasu.
