When Kingman’s Market in the Park reached out for volunteers for their Special Easter Event, the Kingman Young Marines of the Marine Corps League responded. They assisted with safety and security at the bounce houses and as Bunny Guards to help direct kids and family members for photos as well as park clean up after the Easter Egg hunt and helped man the Information desk.
KINGMAN – The Arizona Department of Transportation, in collaboration with the Hualapai Tribe, will host a public meeting on Thursday, April 16, to obtain community input for preservation and reuse of the historic Osterman/Shell Gas Station on Route 66 in Peach Springs.
KINGMAN – Friends of the Kingman Library will be hosting a book sale Friday and Saturday, May 8 and 9, at the Mohave County Library, 3269 N. Burbank St. Friday hours are 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
KINGMAN – Chillin’ on Beale will host their Classic Car Kick-Off on Saturday, April 18. Bring your car down for a fun time. Cruise on down to Beale Street at Locomotive Park for classic cars and down-home Kingman atmosphere!
KINGMAN – One of three women charged in a four-pound methamphetamine seizure in Bullhead City has been placed on probation with no further jail time. Dara Tristan, 47, was sentenced April 8 by Mohave County Superior Court Judge Megan McCoy.
