Night work scheduled on Airway Avenue for utility installation

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman is notifying residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Airway Avenue due to a utility pole replacement project.  Lane closures are and will be in effect along Airway Avenue from North Willow Road to North Van Nuys Street. Work will take place overnight, Monday through Friday, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., and is expected to continue for approximately two months.

During this time, both westbound lanes will be closed. The center lane will be used to accommodate westbound traffic through the work zone. Motorists should expect delays and a reduced speed limit in the area.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution, follow posted signage, and allow extra travel time when traveling through the area.

For updates and notifications on traffic impacts and other City projects, residents are encouraged to download the City’s mobile app, KingmanAZConnect.
