MOHAVE COUNTY – At their last board meeting, the Mohave County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a letter of opposition regarding a proposed rule by the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) that would authorize the listing of “Natural Asset Companies” (NACs) as a novel investment vehicle on the New York Stock Exchange. Supervisor Buster Johnson brought the item forward for the Board’s consideration after digging deeper into what this proposed rule meant. “This rule raises many concerns, particularly for federal lands, including those in Mohave County. Fentanyl, meth seized in traffic stops

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City police report six arrests and significant drug seizures during separate traffic stops after Christmas. Sergeant Michael Terrinoni said officers confiscated approximately 2,100 fentanyl pills, 13 grams of fentanyl powder, 60 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a pistol on Dec. 28.
