Fentanyl, meth seized in traffic stops

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City police report six arrests and significant drug seizures during separate traffic stops after Christmas. Sergeant Michael Terrinoni said officers confiscated approximately 2,100 fentanyl pills, 13 grams of fentanyl powder, 60 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a pistol on Dec. 28.

Lake Havasu residents arrested and jailed for various drug offenses following the 1:20 p.m. stop in the area of Oro Grande Blvd and Maricopa Ave. include Paul Olson, 34, Courtney Menzies, 37 and Christopher Baker, 33.

Terrinoni said a 3:03 a.m. New Year’s day stop in the area of Highway 95 and McCulloch Blvd., netted seizure of about 2,000 fentanyl pills, 58 grams of fentanyl powder and drug paraphernalia. Jailed on drug charges in that incident were Marissa Hoffmann, 33, Cassidy Nelson, 35 and Anthony Clevidence, 31.
