Prison for robber who assaulted two employees

KINGMAN – A Parker man who committed violent robberies at two businesses in Lake Havasu City is being sent to the Arizona Department of Corrections for 8.5 years. The punishment imposed Thursday by Mohave County Superior Court Judge Rick Lambert was mandated in a plea agreement for Kerrigon Russell, 24. Russsell pleaded guilty to robbery and aggravated assault for an April 29, 2019 incident at the Sally Beauty Supply store at 5601 Highway 95. KINGMAN – The Philip Wisely Pro-Life group and the Knights of Columbus invite and welcome the Kingman community to a prayer service for life on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 3 p.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church on Spring St., at the Aborted Children’s Memorial. Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day at Grand Canyon for Free

Grand Canyon National Park will join national park sites around the country in celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day with free entrance to the park. Entrance fees will be waived for all visitors arriving to Grand Canyon National Park’s South Rim on Monday, Jan. 20, 2020.  Visitors traveling to the South Rim are encouraged to check weather and road conditions before traveling to the park.
