MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College is taking more steps to keep students, faculty and staff safe during the COVID-19 pandemic by moving most classes online, social  distancing and limiting face-to-face interactions. MOHAVE COUNTY – The confirmation of the first positive case of COVID-19 in Mohave County has triggered the enforcement of Governor Doug Ducey’s Arizona Executive Order 2020-09 in Mohave County. Until further notice, all bars, movie and stage theaters, indoor gyms and fitness clubs in Mohave County, including all those in the incorporated cities of Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City and Kingman, must close to the public immediately. MOHAVE COUNTY – The tourism sector of the economy is quite vulnerable to the coronavirus. Spring events that draw thousands of people to the tri-state area are being postponed if not canceled due to social distancing protocols and travel restrictions. BULLHEAD CITY – Starting Thursday, March 26, the northbound right lane on Hwy. 95 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. while permanent signage is being installed for the Corwin/ Hwy. 95 signal. On the evening of March 31, the traffic signal will be activated. There will be extra traffic control and detours posted during final construction.
