BULLHEAD CITY – Step aboard a traveling piece of American history when the United States Freedom Truck Traveling Museum rolls into Bullhead City for a three-day celebration of America’s 250th birthday.

The Freedom Truck will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, Wednesday, June 17, through Friday, June 19, at the Optimum Community Center, 2380 Optimum Way.

The traveling museum provides visitors with an interactive opportunity to explore the people, events, and ideals that shaped the United States. As communities across the nation commemorate America’s 250th anniversary, Bullhead City is inviting residents and visitors to celebrate with history, entertainment, family activities, food, and patriotic fun.

In addition to touring the Freedom Truck, attendees can enjoy a variety of activities available throughout all three days of the event, including live music and entertainment in the gymnasium, family lawn games, an old-fashioned dime candy store, decorative rocks available for purchase, and a professional Old West-style photo booth where guests can dress in period clothing and pose for memorable photographs.

Brisket lunches will be available daily from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $8, while orange cream floats and root beer floats will be offered throughout the event for $3 each.

Visitors are also encouraged to come dressed as a patriotic figure from America’s past. The first 200 participants who arrive in costume will receive a coupon for a free scoop of frozen custard courtesy of Culver’s.
