Community art show will open April 2

KINGMAN – Kingman Center for the Arts and the ArtHub will host a community art show from April 2 through May 9. The art may be viewed at 402 E. Beale St., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The artist reception scheduled for April 4 and the Artist Talks & Treats scheduled for April 18 have been cancelled. Deputies, suspect injured in brawl

DOLAN SPRINGS – A Dolan Springs man suffered a puffy face when battered while battling Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies for more than a half hour early Tuesday. Spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said it was 2:00 a.m. when the sheriff’s office was asked to check into a suspicious vehicle report in the 13000 block of N. Joshua Drive in Dolan Springs. Mortensen said the reporting party advised that a semi-truck had parked near her neighbor’s home and that a man was walking near the property with a flashlight. The sick and the very elderly were typically pardoned but that was as far as grace was extended.  The vast majority of churches across the land did not televise their services or broadcast church on the radio. Traditionally churches have preferred keeping their flock coming to the “house of God.”   Essentially most churches haven’t changed their philosophy. Congregations have always enjoyed “gathering” to sing, hear sermons, eat meals together and importantly -shake hands.  Media…
