KINGMAN – A nurse who works at the Mohave County Adult and Juvenile Detention Centers has been chosen as the region’s team member of the quarter. Staci Philips RN, Director of Nursing at the detention centers said that LPN Tabitha Howell was selected for the honor based on her performance in relation to Wellpath’s core values. Wellpath is the contracted party which provides inmate health care in Kingman at both the Adult and Juvenile Detention Centers. Colorado Belle announces possible permanent closure

Accordintg to a post from the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Colorado Belle, an iconic hotel-casino on the Colorado River in Laughlin, will stay closed for the foreseeable future and lay off its 400 workers. Casino operator Golden Entertainment Inc. said closures to stop the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in March and uncertainty about the return of the market led to the decision. Golden publicly acknowledged the Planned closure on Monday.
