MOHAVE COUNTY – Record crowds are expected on area waterways this Memorial Holiday weekend. MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Wednesday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of ten new COVID-19 positive cases in Mohave County and two COVID-19 related deaths. The two deaths are of a 55-64 year age range person, in the Kingman service area, who is a previously identified case, linked to another confirmed case and an 86+ individual in the Lake Havasu City Service Area, also a previously identified case. Two of them are Mohave County employees who applied for the position, were not selected to interview with the screening committee, but have been invited by supervisors to interview before the Board. In coordination with federal, state and local health officials, the U.S. Census Bureau will begin the process of restarting field operations in Mohave County. The Census Bureau will drop off 2020 Census invitation packets at approximately 90,000 homes County-wide. Also known as Update Leave, the process will give residents in Lake Havasu City another opportunity to be counted. The process is for households in areas where the majority of households do not receive mail at their home.
