Census Bureau operations resume

In coordination with federal, state and local health officials, the U.S. Census Bureau will begin the process of restarting field operations in Mohave County. The Census Bureau will drop off 2020 Census invitation packets at approximately 90,000 homes County-wide.

Also known as Update Leave, the process will give residents in Lake Havasu City another opportunity to be counted. The process is for households in areas where the majority of households do not receive mail at their home.

The Update Leave Operation will not require interaction between a household and a Census Bureau employee. All Census Bureau staff have received safety training to observe social distancing protocols due to COVID-19 and are issued protective equipment for their safety and the safety of the Lake Havasu City community.

Households that receive the 2020 Census invitation packet at their home are urged to respond as soon as possible to the 2020 Census using the census ID included in the packet.

  1. I don’t know about you guys? I’ve been counted atleast 30 times this year, had to prove I was legal to vote 29 times, and I gave up proving I’m a Vet…
