Dear Editor, I am referencing the protests that are occurring in Mohave County regarding The Great American Pizza place. Specifically “Peaceful Protest – We Will Not Comply”; occurring on December 4; Regarding the owner of GAP; he has several signs up that show his patriotism as a call to the public to join in with him to recall Board of Supervisors Chairman Jean Bishop. Two years for illegal dumping

KINGMAN -A Kingman man is going to the Arizona Department of Corrections for illegally dumping debris in the desert near the town of Hackberry. Shaun Dougherty, 41, was convicted of criminal littering in a plea agreement. Deputy Mohave County attorney Rod Albright told Mohave County Superior Court judge Derek Carlisle that Dougherty littered the desert with some 800 lbs. of trash off Antares Road in Dec., 2018. Alleged dope dealer takes prison deal

BULLHEAD CITY – A mandatory prison plea agreement has been entered for an alleged Bullhead City drug dealer. Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle scheduled a Dec. 22 sentencing hearing, informing Thomas Kleve, 66, that he’ll decide whether to accept or reject the deal at that time. Deputy county attorney Leah Nelson said Kleve was arrested following execution of a search warrant on Nov. 27, 2019 at his residence at 1947 Cantleberry Lane. She told the Court that officers found 8 bags containing about 150 grams of methamphetamine. Nelson pleaded guilty to a possession of dangerous drugs count, reduced…

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City police report the recent arrest of a man who allegedly possessed drugs when pulled over for a lane change violation in August. A police report indicated that officers located a zipper lock container near the dashboard of the vehicle operated by Jonathan Brown, 31. The report said that almost 36 grams of methamphetamine, a half gram of heroin, two narcotic pills and an assortment of drug paraphernalia was confiscated. Brown awaits arraignment on charges that include possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Dave Hawkins
