Arizona launches program to assist rental property owners

PHOENIX — Applications for Arizona’s Rental Property Owner Preservation Fund, providing assistance to rental property owners across the state who are facing a loss of rental income due to COVID-19, opened today. Governor Doug Ducey announced $5 million for this Fund last month. All applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the entire amount is awarded. Dear Editor, Mitch McConnell finally released his proposal this week. I’m sure you’re not surprised, but the proposal is bad. Simply put, it does not match the scale of the crisis. New ASU director takes helm

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The new Director at ASU at Lake Havasu introduced herself during the July 28 Lake Havasu City Council meeting. Dr. Carla Harcleroad is a native Oregonian with about 17 years of experience in higher education administration. Harcleroad job-shadowed her predecessor for about three months before taking the helm of the local ASU campus on July 1. She said staff is making optional education delivery plans for the start of fall semester on August 20.
