LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Havasu Community Health Foundation will once again get the community moving with their annual Movin’ for Memory Walk. The nonprofit always has many programs and resources that are beneficial to promoting the well-being of our community such as the Cancer Association, Health Striders, and the Dementia Connection of Havasu.

This year, members of the foundation and the community will be able to register in person and cash and checks are accepted.

After the walk ends, participants will gather under the London Bridge Stage for music, socializing, as winning raffle tickets are drawn. Participating walker fees are $25 per person.

The Movin’ Memory Walk will be taking place on Saturday, November 2. Walk up registration will begin at 7:30 a.m., with an introduction rally beginning at 8:30 a.m. The walk will begin at 9am at the London Bridge Stage.

All proceeds will go towards Havasu Community Health Foundation to continue their ongoing community health programs. The purpose of the event is to demonstrate the importance of how exercise can lead to better mental health, memory, and maintaining physical health.
