Republicans swept Democrats in Mohave County races up and down the general election ballot. Travis Lingenfelter, Sonny Borrelli, Don Martin and Ron Gould each claimed Board of Supervisor seats with landslide defeats of democrats and an independent contender.

Unopposed incumbents winning for the local GOP include Sheriff Doug Schuster, County Attorney Matt Smith, Assessor Jeanne Kentch, Treasurer SueAnn Mello, Recorder Lydia Durst and Superior Court Judge Rick Williams.

Republican John Warren was unchallenged and he’ll succeed retiring County School Superintendent Mike File.

In non partisan contests, Kingman voters are narrowly approving the proposed general plan. The development planning guide is passing by just 27 votes (6,107-6,080).

Two governing board seats are up for grabs in the Kingman Unified School District. Susan Collins (11,891) leads Boyd Hardy (10,210) and Starr Jensen (8,481).
