Park improvements to Jack Hardie Park requires temporary closure

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A temporary closure of Jack Hardie Park, located at Baron Drive, is required for Parks and Recreation playground equipment improvements. Crews will begin the removal of old playground equipment starting Monday, August 26, to prepare for the replacement and installation of new playground equipment and safety surface to be installed mid to late September. The park is anticipated to be reopened at the end of September.

Jack Hardie Park is a well-established neighborhood park. Amenities include seven picnic ramadas, BBQs, a covered playground, six horseshoe pits, restrooms, and an expansive grass play area.

The city apologizes for any inconvenience. They welcome you to venture out to visit one of the other beautiful parks equipped with playgrounds, while they make necessary improvements at Jack Hardie Park. To find out where other parks are located, please visit  www.lhcaz.gov.
