NEWTON DUANE WHITE

Newton Duane White born to Newton Jasper and Florence Eleanor White on February 5, 1945 in Trenton, New Jersey.  Sadly, Newton passed at home on September 20, 2020 after a long illness with his loving wife of 55 years and his family at his side.

Newton married his sweetheart Mary Elmer September 1, 1965 and raised 4 lovely children: Donna, Newton Jr, Noland and Ann Marie in Trenton, New Jersey.  He worked 20 years for US Steel, followed by having his own delivery service business before retiring and moving to Chloride Arizona in 1991. Newton and Mary renewed their wedding vows on their 50th wedding anniversary among their children and family on September 5, 2015 at Hilltop Four Square Church in Kingman, Arizona by Pastor Norm Taylor. 

Newton was a US Army Vietnam Veteran, who was drafted into the Army in 1965, and deployed to Vietnam from 1966-67 362 Engineering at the rank of E4 Corp, honorably discharging from the Army in 1971. 

He leaves behind 3 children, Donna Zullinger (Bob) of North Carolina,  Noland White (Catherine) of Kingman, Arizona, and Ann Marie Valenzuela of Kingman, Arizona and several grandchildren,  Douglas Lucero (Samantha) of Kingman Arizona, Jacob Lucero and Celine Lucero-White both of Kingman, Arizona, Robert Zullinger of Massachusetts, Barbara Jean Gminder of Massachusetts.  Shawn White, and Samantha White, and 5 great grandchildren Tristan Lucero, Mylisa Lucero, Gavin Zullinger, Jamison White and Rilynn White.

Newton favorite hobbies enjoyed were collecting coins, riding his quad, classic cars and Chillin’ on Beale’s Annual Hallowbash trunk or treat and he loved his kids and grandkids.  

A private ceremony is to be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Gardens and a public Memorial service is service is scheduled for October 10, 2020 at Hilltop Four Square Church 2215 E Emerson, Kingman Arizona 86409 at 11 AM where we will celebrate the life of Newton D White.   A facebook page in Newton’s honor will also have live video of the service for those who are unable to attend.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his son Newton White Jr.
