New retail tenant to fill space on Andy Devine

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman Economic Development Department has been working to attract new retail companies to Kingman. For the past few months, the Economic Development Team has been working with the property owner of 3340 E. Andy Devine Avenue to fill tenant space previously occupied by Kmart. After multiple communications and site visits with a regional home, farm, and ranch retailer, C-A-L Ranch Stores has signed a lease to occupy approximately 50,000 sq. ft. of tenant space in Kingman with an anticipated opening date of early spring 2021.

C-A-L Ranch Stores, founded in 1959, is known for home, farm, and ranch supplies including feed, tack, and fencing. Additionally, the company carries hunting, fishing, camping, kayaking, and outdoor gear. The clothing department carries a wide selection of men’s, women’s and children’s western, work, and everyday clothing featuring brands like Carhartt, Levi’s, Wrangler, Cinch, Dickies, CAT, Rock & Roll Denim, Ariat, Key, Berne, and many more. You can find everything you need for your home and yard including power equipment, tools, hardware, rope, and more.

Jason Miller, Vice President of Marketing at C-A-L Ranch stated, “We pride ourselves being a go-to destination for all your family’s needs. We have wanted to come to Kingman for many years and we are so excited that it is now becoming a reality. Thank you for your warm welcome. We’re so excited to join you!”

C-A-L Ranch Stores are located in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and Idaho. Kingman will be the 7th store location in Arizona. The company has a strong reputation for supporting 4-H, FFA, and the High School and Jr. High School Rodeo, amongst other farm and ranch community events.

The primary contact for this project is Sylvia Shaffer, Economic Development Manager, who worked closely with Ben LaParne, property owner, Gary Kellogg, Economic Development Director, Bennett Bratley, Economic Development Manager, Chris Young Community Development Manager, Rickey Hayes of Retail Attractions, UniSource Utility Company representatives, and a member of the community familiar with the farm and ranching industry in the Kingman area. The Economic Development Department is excited that C-A-L Ranch is coming to Kingman and will provide updates as they occur. Information related to C-A-L Ranch Stores can be found at CALRanch.com.
