Mohave County roadwork continues

The citizens of Mohave County can expect the following activity from Mohave County Public Works during the week of April 27:

Arizona Strip: Road grading on 1) Mt. Trumbull Loop and 2) Mud Mountain Rd. in Colorado City.

Kingman: Road grading on 1) Sundown Rd., 2) Greasewood Dr., 3) Buckhorn Dr., 4) Palo Christo Dr., 5) Valley View Rd., 6) Buckhorn Bnd., 7) Jackrabbit Dr., 8) Quail Run Rd., 9) Quail Run Cir., 9) Buckhorn Dr., 10) Cottontail Trl. and 11) Calle Alamo. Crews will be repairing pot holes and making right of way repairs in the Butler area.

Hackberry: Road grading on Antares Rd. from Mile 21 south.

Wikieup: Road grading on Bogles Ranch Rd. Yucca: Road grading on 1) Alamo Rd. from Mile 28 to Mile 38, 2) Alamo Rd. from Mile 19 to Mile 28, 3) Knox Dr., 4) Carmen Rd. and 5) Whispering Wind Dr.

Hualapai Mountain Area: Road grading on S. Blake Ranch Rd.

Golden Valley: Road grading on SE: 1) Bacobi Rd. from Crystal Dr. to Shinarump Dr. and 2) Bolsa Dr. from Bacobi Rd. to end of maintenance. S: 1) Quartzite Dr. from Halite Rd. to Pima Rd., 2) Pima Rd. from Quartzite Dr. to Wingate Dr. and 3) Wingate Dr. from Pima Rd. to Naco Rd. NE: 1) Sundown Dr. from Ranch Rd. to end of maintenance, 2) Smoketree Rd. from Ranch Rd. to end of maintenance and 3) Agua Fria Dr. from Hwy. 93 to Bibo Rd. NW: 1) Hermit Dr. from Hwy. 93 to Glen Canyon Rd. and 2) Colorado Rd. from Hermit Dr. to Hwy. 93. Work on Shinarump Dr. between Aztec Rd. and Colorado Rd. remains ongoing.

Perco Rock has been contracted by Mohave County to harden the low-water crossings, improve ditches/drainage, construct subgrade and place road base. It is anticipated this work will soon be complete. In early May, Earth Resources Corp. will be chip sealing the roadway.

Dolan Springs: Road grading on 1) First St. from Ash Dr. to Becky Rd. 2) Becky Rd. from First St. to Montgomery Ave., 3) Thirteenth St. from Pierce Ferry Rd. to Lomila Dr., 4) Thirteenth St. from Pierce Ferry Rd. to Kingman Dr. and 5) Fourteenth St. from Lost Mine Dr. to Nolan Dr.

Meadview: Chip sealing on Temple Bar Rd. from Hwy. 93 cattle guard to Mile 8.6 and on Pierce Ferry Rd. from Mile 29 to Lake Mead National Recreation boundary.

Lake Havasu: Road grading on Goat Hill in Lake Havasu area. Mohave Valley: Crews will be street sweeping and repairing road shoulders in the Golden Shores area of Topock. Also, crews will be mowing road shoulders in Lagoon Estates, street sweeping in Willow Valley and repairing road shoulders in the Laguna Estates areas of Mohave Valley.

  1. I called 3 years ago about our road not paved on one side. The person told me that they were going to recycle asphalt & do the road. Never happened. We’ve lived here almost 11 yrs, my neighbor over 25 yrs & it’s never changed. Please pave the road. Dust everywhere.
