No injuries in residential electrical fire

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City Fire Department (LHCFD) responded to a report of smoke coming from the garage of a residence in the 3000 block of Indian Peak Dr., Wednesday morning, April 22. Firefighters gained control of the fire within nine minutes. Residents of the home were able to evacuate safely. According the a LHCFD spokesperson, the cause of the fire was electrical and started with a light fixture in the garage.
