Kingman Little League opens 2026 season at Southside Park

KINGMAN — The 2026 Kingman Little League season is officially underway, with Southside Park buzzing throughout the weekend as hundreds of young players took the field for opening games in the major and minor divisions.

League President Christina Runner said the early turnout and energy set a strong tone for the season.

“We have over 600 players registered and playing this year,” Runner said. “We still have our senior division, which starts in late April or early May, and registration is still open for that.”

Crowds filled the park for the first full weekend of games, with families lining fences and cheering as teams began their spring schedules. Runner said the league is also benefiting from a strong volunteer base.

“We have a lot — over 200 volunteers,” she said. “Coaches are phenomenal this year. They’re on top of it. They’re all here for the kids. Kids are having fun. Parents are having fun. Everything’s going great.”

With evaluations complete and teams settled, baseball takes center stage in Kingman once again as the community settles in for another season of Little League action.
