Julian Nicholas Magana

Memorial blood drive slated for Magana

Julian Nicholas Magana, age 22, of Kingman, Arizona passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024.  JuJu, as many of us called him, worked in the lab at Kingman Regional Medical Center and was a faithful blood donor.  He also encouraged others to donate life-saving blood.  Folks all around the hospital knew him.  His mother and sister are also KRMC employees.  In honor of all he did and in loving memory of his life cut short, we will host the Julian Magana Memorial Blood Drive this month in Mohave A&B Conference Rooms at the main hospital, 3269  Stockton Hill Road, Kingman.  I hope that many of you will come and donate!

As a health care worker, JuJu knew the importance of blood donations. I’m sure you know how precious this gift is too.  Please plan on coming and bring along some first-time donors as well.  The two-day drive is Wednesday, March 19 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursday, March 20 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Appointments can be made at https://www.vitalant.org/krmc

Although walk-ins are usually welcome, appointments are very helpful so that we can insure proper staffing and supplies. Do feel free to share this with co-workers, friends, and family.  I hope to see a huge crowd later this month remembering Julian Magana as we donate life-saving blood!
