Jamison receives nine years with plea agreement

Lisa Marie Jamison

Probation violations and new criminal cases resolved through a single plea agreement result in a nine year prison term for a Bullhead City woman. Lisa Marie Jamison, 39, was sentenced Friday, May 24, by Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle.

Jamison was placed on probation in December, 2015 after pleading guilty to four counts of child abuse by for endangering children who had access to four weapons and ammunition inside a Bullhead City apartment.

Jamison was arrested on a failure to appear warrant when contacted in September, 2018. Police reportedly seized usable amounts of methamphetamine and marijuana, and some drug paraphernalia during a search of her purse.

Jamison racked up an assault charge for scuffling with a detention officer at the Mohave County jail in March, 2019.

Judge Carlisle ordered 2.5 years in prison for the original convictions and violating probation. He ordered 4 years more for the drug case and another 2.5 years for the assault.

Jamison’s nine year prison sentence will be reduced as she was credited for 266 days already spent in custody.
