Free COVID-19 training for all caregivers in Arizona

The Association for Supportive Child Care (ASCC) is providing free virtual training to all child care providers to help minimize the risk of COVID-19 in preschools, child care centers, and home-based settings. The training includes basic information about COVID-19 guidance when caring for children during the pandemic, and how to help prevent the spread of viruses. This training is free to all child care providers as a result of funding from the Arizona Department of Economic Security.

“Keeping kids safe and healthy is our first priority,” commented Nicole Newhouse, ASCC CEO. “We know child care is essential for most families and crucial for the recovery of our economy. We are committed to doing our part to ensure caregivers have the support and training they need to help kids, families and providers feel safe in child care settings.”

This virtual training is offered several times a week, including on Saturdays, is available to licensed and non-licensed caregivers, and is available in both English and Spanish.
