Postcards encouraging households to respond to 2020 Census going out

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The U.S. Census Bureau is sending postcards between June 24 and July 3 to all Lake Havasu households where P.O. Boxes are the only mailing address available. The postcards alert households that a census taker may drop off a census invitation soon or visit later to interview them.

If you wish to avoid being contacted by a census taker, please complete your Census at https://my2020census.gov/. Households can respond in English or 12 other languages, by phone at (844) 330-2020 using the Census ID included in the packet or by completing and mailing back the paper questionnaire delivered to them.

Lake Havasu City encourages residents to complete the 2020 Census as soon as possible. It’s not too late to respond online, by mail or by phone. Let’s not pass up significant federal funding for critical local services.

For more information, visit www.2020census.gov or call (844) 330-2020.
