COVID-19 update: 45 new cases, two deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Thursday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 45 new COVID-19 confirmed cases. Twenty-four of the cases are in the Bullhead City service area. Twenty are in the Lake Havasu City area. One case is in the Kingman area.

There are two new deaths reported, both from previous cases.  One is a 60-69 year age range person in the Bullhead City area and one is 80-89 in the Lake Havasu City area.

Of the 24 Bullhead area cases, 8 are recovering at home and are inked to another case. One is 11-19; one is 20-29; two are 30-39; one is 40-49; two are 50-59l one is 60-69.  There are 16 cases in the Bullhead City area that remain under investigation. One case is 0-10; two are 20-29; three are 30-39; six are 50-59; three are 60-69; one is 70-79.

Of the 20 Lake Havasu City area cases, 18 remain under investigation. Two are 20-29; four are 30-39; one is 40-49; three are 50-59; three are 60-69; two are 70-79; three are 80-89. The final two Lake Havasu City area cases are recovering at home and are linked to another case.  One is 20-29 and the other is 40-49/

There are now 187 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including 12 deaths, 295 in Kingman, with a total of 43 deaths there, and 29 cases in “North County,” formerly referred to as “Other”(composed of a number of smaller Mohave County communities,)  and 420 in Bullhead City, including 24 deaths.  There are now a total of, 79 deaths in the county from the disease.
