BULLHEAD CITY – Guilty verdicts were returned at trial in a Bullhead City road rage case. A Mohave County Superior Court jury deliberated a little more than two hours before finding Michael Eisen, 49, guilty of all charges on June 24.
Eisen is convicted of two counts of aggravated assault and a disorderly conduct involving a weapon (his vehicle) charge. Eisen was taken into custody after the verdicts were returned because he is facing mandatory prison at sentencing.
Deputy County Attorney James Schoppmann told the jury that the defendant had picked up his teenage son at Mohave High school and was westbound on Hancock Road when he encountered the motorcycle operated by a 48-year-old woman. Schoppmann said Eisen pointed a weapon at the woman at one point and that she was clipped or frightened by close proximity of his SUV before she dumped the bike, sustaining road rash and other injuries.
Sentencing is set July 22 before Judge Derek Carlisle. Eisen faces a five- to 7.5-year prison term.
