Dear Editor,
It’s better to work a job you enjoy than a job you hate. You will eventually fail at the job you hate. If you love your work, you don’t mind making less money but chances are more money will eventually be made from the work you love than from the work you hate.

There is no place like home and there is NO HOME without a place. As a citizen of Kingman, I am very proud that the Kingman City Council has proven many times their pledge to help the homeless get off the streets. This effort started years back and the City Council continues to steadfastly pursue the duality of that goal.

I keep hearing people say that “if Trump does not win this election there will be riots in the streets” or “if Trump goes to jail there will be riots in the streets”. People, you had better stop and actually think about what will happen if there are riots.

On June 5, Kingman Unified School District took a vital step towards ensuring the safety of their students and staff by conducting a crucial meeting on their Emergency Operations Plans. This collaborative review of the KUSD Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) was an opportunity to review common procedures and roles during a Joint Incident Command event.
