Where, in which rule book or statute is it stated that when a group of people are angry (even justifiably so) that they are allowed to destroy private property and steal from blameless victims. How has it come to be that our society is so fractured that those people destroying the belongings and the lifelong work of others feel no remorse? In the 1955 western movie “A Lawless Street” those who wanted power hired a gunman to rid the city of the lawman, in this case the sheriff, so they could take over the city and all the businesses. The sheriff was eventually gunned down. Although he was only wounded, his friend pronounced him dead and took him away and took care of him.
