LAKE HAVASU CITY – Two Lake Havasu City men face prosecution following seizure of drugs, cash and weapons. Police were involved in an investigation of a rash of drug overdoses when they visited a two-bedroom apartment in the 2200 block of McCulloch Blvd on Sept. 29. They were able to conduct a search of the unit when they smelled marijuana and spotted drug paraphernalia when the door was opened. Mask town hall draws sparse attendance

KINGMAN – A handful of citizens turned out for what was billed as a hybrid town-hall/workshop Thursday for Mohave County supervisors to gather public input on use of masks and the requirement to wear face cover in Mohave County buildings during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. About a half-dozen people addressed the board of supervisors in person and more than three dozen others submitted written statements. KINGMAN – The language barrier that presented difficulty in the criminal investigation is also evident in legal proceedings for an elderly Asian defendant who allegedly brutally assaulted co-workers with hot oil at a Kingman eatery last spring.
