OATMAN – Two write-in candidates have unseated incumbents in a special recall election in the Oatman Fire District. Results from Tuesday’s balloting remain unofficial pending canvas. A Mohave County Elections Department post indicates challenger Darin Lowrey knocked off board chairman James Tobin 25-4. Challenger Ronnie Walker beat Board Clerk Mike Gonzales 24-0. KINGMAN -The Kingman City Council has approved manager Ron Foggin’s request to send a letter of support to Arizona’s Congressional delegation in support of an initiative to designate Route 66 as an Historic Trail.
