Museum’s 42nd Annual Christmas gathering draws locals

KINGMAN – The Mohave Museum of History and Arts hosted its annual Christmas Gathering on Saturday, December 9. The museum has hosted the event for 42 years. Popular local music duo, Aces, performed a host of Christmas standards such as Silent Night, Jingle Bells, Santa Claus is Coming to Town as well as a few Country Christmas tunes such as Dolly Parton’s Hard Candy Christmas for the crowd.  Debbie Casson sang and played guitar with Yvonne Kilby on keyboard. LAKE HAVASU CITY – The beautiful melodies of the Castle Valley Academy will be making a comeback this year with their Manger and the Cross concert. Affiliated with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Castle Valley Academy is a private boarding high school located in Castle Valley, Utah.   Their school’s choir consists of ninth through twelfth grade students and the choir tours regularly spreading holiday spirits through the language of music. The Manger and the Cross concert will be on Sunday, December 17 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the stage under the London Bridge.   This will be the academy’s second Christmas show in Lake Havasu.
