OnStar leads to stolen vehicle, arrests

Nicole Parker

BULLHEAD CITY – A stolen vehicle investigation has led to the arrest of a Tucson couple in Bullhead City. Police Department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said a stolen vehicle alert from OnStar led officers to the 2000 block of Swan Circle at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23.

“The people who had the keys to the parked stolen vehicle were staying in a shed at this location,” Fromelt said. She said officers first detained and subsequently arrested Cody King and Nicole Parker, both 25, for theft, drug and other charges.

“Police located numerous blue counterfeit M-30 pills containing Fentanyl and three glass pipes in a backpack inside the shed,” Fromelt said. “The baggies of pills weighed a total of approximately 69.5 grams.”

Parker and King are initially charged with narcotic drug offenses and unlawful use of means of transportation. They were also charged with an unrelated Jan. 4 shoplifting incident at Wal-Mart.
