LAKE HAVASU CITY – Havasu Classics Car Club will be celebrating veterans the week before Veterans Day at their 17th Annual Veterans Day Celebration Show and Shine on Saturday, Nov. 4 at Lake Havasu State Park. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., come out and enjoy classic rock hits with a live DJ, food, drink, and raffles. Trophies will be awarded to the winners of the car show. The show is free to spectators and 100% of proceeds will go to local veterans in need of assistance.  This year, Havasu Classics Car Club is giving back to the veterans of the community….

KINGMAN  – Kingman Marine Corps League has announced the 248th Marine Birthday Ball, Irish Style. The event will be held Friday, Nov. 10 at the American Legion Post 14, 335 Oak St. Bar will open at 5 p.m. with opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. The guest speaker will be Marine Darren Delaney The Ride for the 13. KINGMAN – Kingman Republican Women (KRW) will host Representative John Gillette on Monday, November 6 at their general meeting which is open to the public.  Gillette has been in office since January 2023 and is currently a member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing District 30.    KRW’s second speaker on November 6 will be Marianne Salem who is running for the Mohave County Board of Supervisors representing District 4.  Salem has experience working for the Mohave County Board of Supervisors in both District 4 and District 1.   KRW meets on the first Monday of each month.  Doors open at…
