Traffic fatal under investigation

BULLHEAD CITY – A traffic fatality is under investigation in Bullhead City. Police Department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said the single vehicle rollover occurred on the Bullhead Parkway near Arroyo Vista Drive at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26. Fromelt said the 37-year-old man was ejected when the vehicle he was driving rolled down an embankment. He was pronounced dead at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center. “His fiancé and their three-year-old son were uninjured and were able to get out of the vehicle before it caught on fire, Fromelt said. “They were transported to WARMC as a precautionary measure.” Fromelt said…

Trial set for former deputy

KINGMAN – The many times continued trial of a former Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputy who admitted engaging in sexual activity with a teenager at a youth drinking party in Kingman has been set between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Attorneys told Judge Doug Camacho during a Thursday hearing that they are prepared for jury selection for the trial of Andrew Sundberg, 24, beginning Monday, Dec. 4. “We are all set from the defense standpoint,” said Sundberg attorney Virginia Crews. BLM prescribed burning planned in the Hualapai Mountains 

KINGMAN – Fire managers from the Bureau of Land Management Colorado River District are planning to conduct prescribed burning in the Hualapai Mountains, 20 to 25 miles southeast of Kingman, AZ this fall and winter. Specific treatment locations include Blue Tank, Bull, and Hibernia canyons. KINGMAN – The rich history of Kingman’s St. John’s United Methodist Church will be celebrated during the month of November.
