KINGMAN – Plea agreements have been employed to quickly resolve a unique drug bust that occurred in Kingman last fall. The Oct. 26, 2025 traffic stop produced the seizure of a large supply of products that are used to ingest the active ingredient in marijuana.
Fessenden elected Phi Kappa Phi
BULLHEAD CITY – Stephanie Fessenden of Bullhead City, was recently elected to membership into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, at University of Kentucky. Utah man gets 5-year prison term for Colorado City shooting death
COLORADO CITY — A rare shooting death in the north Mohave County community of Colorado City has resulted in a 5-year prison term for James Nielsen of St. George, Utah. The punishment was stipulated in a plea agreement convicting the 28-year-old defendant of manslaughter in the death almost a year ago of Travis Cooke in Cooke’s home at 480 Lauritzen Street in Colorado City.
