Liberty Quartet to perform Jan. 26

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Everyone’s spirits will be uplifted at the Liberty Quartet’s concert this week. Formed in 1995, Liberty Quartet was founded by a local church in Boise, Idaho. It started out with choir director Royce Mitchell and three other choir members. By 1997, the quartet had a full time traveling tour. Today, the band continues to spread their faith and worship to audiences through music.  Each year, the band’s touring performances take place at prisons, churches, and nursing homes.  Eventually, Liberty Quartet broadened their concerts to Gospel Music Fan Festival in Canada, the Southwest Music Festival, and the Great Western Fan Festival. Lake…

Making an Entrance

I have three doors in which to enter my home, namely, the front, the back, and the garage. I have three doors in which to enter my church, one in front and two side ones. Coincidence? Yes. But are three entrances enough for either? From a literal sense, of course. Could it be argued that figuratively my church needs more doorways? Yes. Let me explain. Whenever I have taken a taxi, traveled on a train, or attended a sporting event at a large stadium, I am offered multiple doors to pass through. Why? Because there is a consumer demand for…
