KINGMAN – Kingman Unified School District #20 is very proud to have had 10 students participate in the Arizona Music Educators Association’s All-State Elementary/Junior High School Honor Band Festival held on March 2, at Mountain View High School in Mesa.  Hundreds of Arizona middle school students vied for placement in the prestigious All-State Sixth, Seventh & Eighth Grade Honor Bands. In December 2023, seventh and eighth grade band students submitted virtual audition recordings of musical excerpts and scales for judging. Adjudicators assessed students’ technical accuracy and artistic expression awarding placement to the highest-ranking musicians for each grade level ensemble. KINGMAN – The public is invited to the Mohave Republican Forum (MRF) dinner meeting on Wednesday, March 13, at 5:30 p.m.  Guest speakers will be Mohave County Assessor Jeanne Kentch, who is running for re-election and candidates Becky Foster and Rebecca Main Liska for the same position; and James Barber and Gordon Groat, candidates for Mohave County School Superintendent.
