Coffee with the Mayor April 9

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman invites people to connect, learn, and share ideas during Coffee with the Mayor and City Manager on Thursday, April 9. Held every second Thursday of the month from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m., this informal gathering will offer the community the opportunity to enjoy coffee while engaging in open conversation with Mayor Ken Watkins and City Manager Tim Walsh. The event will be held at the Council Chambers, 310 N. Fourth St.

Upcoming temporary street closure at Wheeler Park for special event

A temporary street closure on McCulloch Boulevard, between Riviera Boulevard and Capril Boulevard, is in place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 8:30 am to noon, to accommodate the Marine Corps League Detachment 757 Memorial Ceremony at Wheeler Park.

Traffic control measures are in place throughout the closure to support event activities and ensure public safety. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and follow posted signage while traveling in the area.

Parade to honor American, patriots

First Friday street closures in Kingman

The City of Kingman is notifying residents and motorists of temporary street closures in downtown Kingman for the first First Friday event of the season, taking place on Friday, April 3, 2026. Street closures will be in effect from 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and will include Beale Street between 1st Street and 6th Street, extending north and south to the alleyway. 4th Street will also be closed from the alley north of Beale Street to Andy Devine Avenue.

The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes during the event.
