LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. – A nearly naked woman was cited for indecent exposure in Lake Havasu City on Sept. 11. Local police responded early that evening to separate citizen reports that the woman wore nothing but her bra as she strolled along McCulloch and Cherry Tree Boulevards.
Arriving officers reportedly encountered Nalene Vandermuelen clutching a near-empty bottle of tequila while walking her cat on a leash. A police report indicated the Vandermuelen, 43, rambled incoherently when interviewed by police.
“I felt like I was going to die because of the heat,” she answered, in response to a question about her near naked display.
Vandermuelen was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation.
