Lake Havasu City to Host Emergency Vehicle Technician Training

LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. – Lake Havasu City will host Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) training September 30 through October 8, at the Public Works Maintenance Facility, 900 London Bridge Road. The training is open to the public, and registration fees apply.

Tony Martin, who has 42 years of experience in automotive, heavy-truck, and equipment fields, serves as the instructor.

The first week of training, September 30 through October 3, covers electrical and air conditioning. The second week, October 5 through October 8, covers electrical and hydraulic systems. Electrical training is limited to 21 participants and is offered both weeks to provide additional opportunities to attend. There is no enrollment limit for the Air Conditioning or Hydraulic Systems training.

EVT certification exams are offered on October 8.
