Runaway teen sought

TOPOCK – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is seeking the community’s assistance in locating a runaway teen. Justice Christine Bowers is 17 years old, 5’ 2” and approximately 115 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen on Monday, Nov. 18, at her home in Topock, and allegedly left in the middle of the night. Justice could potentially be travelling with Joseph Gonzalez, her boyfriend who lives in Mesa, but this information has not been confirmed. Some 43 pounds of meth seized during traffic stop near Kingman

KINGMAN – On Thursday, Nov. 21, at about 8 p.m., the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET) confiscated 43 pounds of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of more than $1.9 million. According to an Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) press release, Israel Tellez-Nava, 35, of Las Vegas, NV, was the driver and sole occupant of a traffic stop on Interstate 40 at around mp 59. Detectives observed bundles of methamphetamine in plain view during the traffic stop and arrested Tellez-Nava on scene. FORT MOHAVE – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) detectives arrested Daniel Joseph Campbell, 55, of Rochester, MN, for second degree murder per domestic violence. On Wednesday, Nov. 20, at about 6 p.m., deputies responded to Boundary Cone Rd. and Hwy. 95 in Fort Mohave for a welfare check. An out-of-state reporting party advised that she had received a call from her friend’s boyfriend, telling her that her friend had overdosed on illegal drugs and that the victim was not breathing.
