Multiple drug arrests results in 10-year prison plea deal

BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City man complained of unfair treatment, but nonetheless encouraged a judge in Kingman to approve the plea agreement that sends him to the Arizona Department of Corrections for a decade. The ten-year prison term is mandated in the plea deal convicting Kevin Goc, 51, of two counts of attempted possession of dangerous drugs for sale. BULLHEAD CITY – The Cost-of-Living Index (COLI) Annual Average Data report for the second quarter of 2019 was just released and Bullhead City is once again the most affordable city in Arizona and one of the most affordable cities in the nation. Bullhead City was reported again as the most affordable city in Arizona with an overall composite index of 91.1 percent. Molnar gets jail time, probation, community service

BULLHEAD CITY – A local judge has declined a prison option but ordered a 120 day jail sentence for a Bullhead City man who was impaired when he crashed his vehicle through the glass front doors of a convenience store, injuring a patron a year ago. Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle placed Alexander Molnar on probation during an August 15 sentencing hearing and ordered the 70-year-old to perform 80 hours of community work service. “Not the way I pictured my life ending,” Molnar said, when asked if he’d like to address the Court. Manker receives 13 years for killing girlfriend

MOHAVE VALLEY – A Mohave Valley man told a judge last Friday that he killed his girlfriend early this year to end her suffering. Mohave County Superior Court Judge ordered a 13-year prison term for James Manker, 28. It was revealed during the sentencing hearing that Manker was severely disabled when he drove drunk and crashed a vehicle when he was a teenager about a decade ago.
