When I was in high school, I worked in the local supermarket of a small town in east Texas. Open auditions to be held for Shakespeare play

MCC Radiologic Technology students’ community involvement prompts heartfelt donation

BULLHEAD CITY – The Mohave Community College Radiologic Technology program received a $1,000 donation that will go toward new equipment for the radiology program. The donation was given by Noah D. Kang Jr., a Bullhead City community member, in honor of his late wife, Kazuko.  Recently, Karen Morris, a member of the nonprofit group We Care Cancer Support, and the sister of Kang, presented a check to MCC. Public Health Supervisor speaks at Rotary

Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club welcomed Kyle Walsh, Mohave County Department of Public Health Environmental Health Supervisor, as their December 20th speaker (shown with club president Karen Brown). Walsh addressed the club on obtaining health certificates for food service. Two-hour classes are conducted by the health department to obtain food service cards, which are valid for three years. Juelfs qualifies for CSC Dean’s ist

Kael Juelfs of Kingman is among the 620 students who qualified for Chadron State College’s Fall 2019 Dean’s List. The list consists of 322 students who earned at least a 3.5 grade point average. To qualify, students must be enrolled in 12 credit hours of coursework, be seeking their first bachelor’s degree, and have no incomplete grades during the semester. Chadron State College, which was founded in 1911, is the only four-year, regionally-accredited college in the western half of Nebraska.
