KINGMAN – On Dec 4 Paul John Carlton,34 of Kingman, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for luring a minor for sexual exploitation, attempted molestation of a child and attempted sexual conduct with a minor. The sentence was ordered by Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle. Prior to the sentencing, relevant parties were given the ability to speak for or against Carlton’s behalf. KINGMAN – The Mohave Republican Forum will host its annual Christmas Party and installation banquet on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. at Calico’s Restaurant, 418 W. Mohave County will provide important information to prospective applicants for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds at an upcoming public hearing. The January 8 hearing that begins at 6:00 p.m. will be held in the Saguaro Room at the Mohave County Administration Building at 700 West Beale Street in downtown Kingman. Community Services Director Dave Wolf said interested parties must attend the hearing to learn about the application process involving funds that are allocated to benefit low-income persons and areas, alleviate slum and blight or address an urgent need.
