Mother to testify against father in toddler death case

KINGMAN – A Lake Havasu City woman intends to testify against the man who fathered the child they’re accused of killing a little more than two years ago. Brittany Rodriquez, 27, and Andrew Lamorie, 24, both remain jailed awaiting trial involving the January 2018 death of 27-month old Gabriella Lamorie. An autopsy determined that Gabriella suffered blunt force head and neck trauma and her death was ruled a homicide. Declaration of local emergency: what it means-

KINGMAN – City of Kingman Mayor Jen Miles signed a Declaration of Local Emergency yesterday, March 17, in order to potentially receive state or federal relief funds, as they may become available during or after the COVID-19 pandemic. Citizens are urged to cooperate with this emergency declaration, especially those guidelines determined by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). There are currently no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Kingman or Mohave County. Hoover Dam temporarily closed to all visitors

BOULDER CITY, NEVADA – Today, March 18, the Bureau of Reclamation temporarily suspended public visitation to Hoover Dam. Because of the nature of the structure and an inability to implement social distancing standards recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Hoover Dam will be temporarily closed to visitors, including the visitor center and all tours, until further notice. The health and safety of the public and the people working at the Hoover Dam is the number one priority. Water deliveries and powerplant operations will continue without interruption.
